Darwin’s Black Box

Michael Behe, Ph.D., Darwin’s Black Box, presents the idea that there is irreducible complexity to living organisms, which means many functioning “parts” had to be in place simultaneously for an organism to live. This stung his fellow scientists for at least two reasons: he is a professor of Biochemistry so writing from within the guild hurt, and it is impossible to refute his evidence. Now that we know more about the body and its chemistry, Darwin is defeated. Very technical in places on chemistry, but most people can get a lot from it. Behe is a conservative Roman Catholic. Recommended.
